Korean Sweet and Spicy Pork (Daeji Bulgogi)


A sweat and spicy pork either grilled or pan fried. It's very popular with cooked vegetables like spinach, onions, zucchini, or peppers ; often  wrapped with rice in lettuce leaves.
Serves 6

1 onion, minced
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1/2 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp red pepper paste (gochujang)
2 1/2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tsp minced ginger

2 pounds pork butt, sliced 1/8” thick

Combine first 8 ingredients together, add the sliced pork and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Grill or broil for about 4-8 minutes or until done or stir-fry in an ungreased pan for 5-10 minutes.
